It’s inspiring to witness the progress we’ve made in the cannabis reform conversation. After years of advocacy, it’s now being recognized on a national platform, and this moment feels like an acknowledgment of the hard work so many have put into changing perceptions. I sense a modicum of respect finally being afforded to those who have tirelessly championed education, reform, and awareness.
That said, we still have a long way to go. The ongoing debates around hemp and cannabis policy further complicate the landscape, but they’re also forcing the issue to the forefront. One thing is clear—cannabis isn’t going away. It’s time for society to address it head-on, to fully understand its potential, and to create policies that reflect this evolving reality.
